Connect your AI assistant to Kiki

Ask Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor “Did Mom take her pills today?” or “Remind Dad to drink water every two hours” — Kiki's phone alarm does the rest.

MCP server · OAuth or access token

Server URL

https://mcp.kiki.trinh.uk/mcp

A remote Model Context Protocol server (Streamable HTTP). Sign-in uses OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration and PKCE; every connection is approved in the Kiki app.

What you can ask

📋 Check in

“What's left on Mom's list today?” · “Did Dad miss anything this week?” · “Is Grandma's phone still online?”

➕ Set up

“Add a 7-day antibiotic for Mom, 1 tablet at 8:00 and 20:00.” · “Remind Na to do homework on weekdays at 17:00.”

✏️ Adjust

“Move Dad's walk to 9:30.” · “Pause the vitamin while she's in hospital.” · “Mark the 8 o'clock pill as done — she told me on the phone.”

Connect

1. Add Kiki in your AI app

  • Claude (web, desktop, mobile): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste the server URL. Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http kiki https://mcp.kiki.trinh.uk/mcp
  • ChatGPT: in Settings, create a custom connector / app (developer mode) with the server URL and OAuth authentication.
  • Cursor: add to ~/.cursor/mcp.json:
    { "mcpServers": { "kiki": { "url": "https://mcp.kiki.trinh.uk/mcp" } } }
  • Any other MCP client that supports remote servers with OAuth works the same way.

Menu names differ between versions of each app.

2. Approve it in Kiki

  1. Your browser opens a Kiki page with a QR code and a 6-character code (valid 10 minutes).
  2. On your phone open Kiki → Settings → Connected AI apps → Approve, then scan the QR or type the code.
  3. Choose Read only or Read and change, and which people it may see. Tap Allow — the browser returns to your AI app.

No OAuth in your client? Use an access token

In Kiki: Settings → Connected AI apps → Create access token. Pick the access and people, copy the token (shown once), and send it as a header:

{ "mcpServers": { "kiki": {
    "url": "https://mcp.kiki.trinh.uk/mcp",
    "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer kiki_pat_…" } } } }

Treat the token like a password. Tokens expire after 90 days by default.

Reading is free. Changing reminders needs Kiki Family for that person (one subscription covers everyone who helps them). Limits per connection: 60 requests a minute, 500 a day, 50 changes a day.

Privacy & safety

  • You decide. Each connection is approved in the app, limited to read-only or read-and-change and to the people you pick. If you leave someone's Care Circle, the AI loses access to them too.
  • Revoke any time in Settings → Connected AI apps; it takes effect on the next request. There you also see when it was last used and what it did.
  • No more than you can see. The AI gets the same information you see in the app — names, reminders, schedules and results. No photos, voice recordings, phone numbers or account details.
  • What the AI receives is handled by that AI provider under its own terms. Connect only assistants you trust with this information.
  • Others are told. When an AI changes a reminder, the other helpers of that person get a notification (“Claude added 'Vitamin D' for Mom”).
  • Kiki stores only fingerprints (hashes) of access tokens and a log of tool calls without their content, kept for 90 days. See the privacy policy.

Kiki is a reminder tool, not a medical device. AI assistants can make mistakes: check what they set up, and never use them for medical advice or dosing decisions.
